A tip of the kepi to Steve Haden of the 12th VA for this heads up.
Steve tell us that the big Richmond Marathon is scheduled for the same weekend as the monument dedication at Hollywood. By all means PLEASE still plan on attending, your help is needed in dedicating the 80+ grave markers.
Steve suggests you plan to come down a little earlier than the 11:00 staging hour. Try coming at 9:00 and pack a lunch and enjoy the beauty of Hollywood. Hollywood was set up to give visitors the beauty of a park while visiting the dearly departed. A little preview of heaven perhaps?
Don't forget to vote on Tuesday. We don't spout political views in the Corps or suggest who is better than someone else. Simply vote, if for no other reason than there are a lot of men and women in Afghanistan and Iraq who are fighting to keep our freedom alive.
